At one point in our design adventure with Joanne and Michelle at Fashion Floors, we had so many tile samples spread around the showroom floor that a casual observer could have easily mistaken our activity as a game of “Twister.” But that was just one of the very interactive ways we were able to get a real-time sense of how different colors, textures, and sizes could work together. And no detail was too small: what color grout will tie these two tiles together gracefully? Since my wife and I lived several hours away during the design and construction phases of our project, Michelle and Joanne agreed to meet with us on days and at times that were above-and-beyond the normal. They helped us in so many creative ways with our numerous tile selections, countertops (granite and Corian), cabinetry, and even radiant flooring by providing samples to take home and sleep on—we never felt pressured to make quick decisions. My wife and I always felt that Joanne and Michelle put our long-term interests and satisfaction above their short-term interests in making a sale. As a result, everyone came out a winner! When we decided to remodel our kitchen, we worked with three designers before making our choice. Fashion Floors received our contract because we liked the design, cabinets, and countertops, as well as the expertise that was evident in guiding us through a major project which was totally foreign to us. We specifically wanted to work with someone locally who would be available from beginning to end. Additionally, we chose our tile and countertop for our master bath and could not be more pleased.
